Another CAMCO letter !!

Yes.. another one ! My fiance has been hounded by these dirtbags since 2000. He just got another letter from them on a different account, this one was "CitiBank formerly held by Fourscore Resource Capital, they're claiming he owes $8,200 !!! Now, the kicker is this.. he pulled 2 of the 3 credit reports last April (I know, he needs to do it again, and now !) and NEITHER of these accounts that CAMCO is trying to collect on is on the credit reports, and neither is this Fourscore place, which I'm assuming is a collection agency (anyone know ?). Since this latest one doesn't show up on reports that he pulled a year ago, this HAS to be past the S.O.L. Unfortunately, he has lost a lot of his records and I doubt if we can prove the DOLA, except that its gone off his CR's. This letter was dated 7/16.. the 30-day limit is up in 2 days Even if we send a letter, it'll never get there in time. Can we still request validation ? This is complete BS, just like all the rest here re: CAMCO, they've gone dumpster diving and pulled out some real old corpses. These old debts were probably incurred in either IL or NY, both of which have 6 year SOL's. Any advice with this besides all the rest I've read ? Thanks !
