I have (2) cards from the same credit card company. I was offered a verbal (nothing in writing)settlement from a credit card manager from an east coast office,38%(which I can pay today) the west coast office processed the settlement & management declined the settlement. They want 50%. I don't have it.
Has anyone gone through this? After (5) years of not using either card & paying $22,000 in interest, late fees & other fees, my balance is higher now than it was a year ago. I'm ready to give up & let them charge off. any suggestions?
