Stop paying credit cards? Or Not!

I just read a post from K about how she has not used her cards I think in a year,and the interest has mounted to $20,000. She wants to stop paying and let them charge off. I would also like to know about doing that because of the very high minimums that we cant pay and the amount keeps rising. Not sure how much her credit limit actually was,but mine are going beyond reach,and Im afraid if I keep makeing payments each month(small ones) this will drag out until we also owe(not mine husbands)$20,000 or more. Why chat or others what is your thought,should I pay the small ones off and just let the others go now?
