Payments on an account,to a ca, absent a written agreement, do not extend or "re-age" the SOL. In some States, even a written agreement is invalid for waiving your SOL.
If the judgment was obtained as a default judgment, and you were beyond the SOL, it can be petitioned to be vacated on the grounds of fraud.
