Another thing that could be impacting thiws - i.e. pushing them in this direction is a four months past due note on my credit report by the mortgage company.

The mortg. co. made an error on my account five months ago (long story) but it almost put it in foreclosure and I called in the Attorney General to help. That is now resolved but the notation is still on my credit report and I am working with the AG to have the mortgage company take it off.
