Yes, I know, and I think that happens in most cases. The argument is that this person insists that a C&D letter,according to the FDCPA, no matter what you put in it, simply means NO COMMUNICATION of any kind, "stop means stop" (their quote). He quotes the FDCPA section that says a CA may proceed with legal action, even if he has not provided validation. What that proves I don't know.. except his answer was 'if you send a C&D letter, that's when the lawsuits start'. In some cases that may be, but I don't think its true in all cases.
