It is, in my opinion, pointless to try to "educate" cc colector about the horrors his business has inflicted on so many who post here.

He is obviously trying to justify to himself, and others his career choice. He is working his way through school,and thinks because HE is operating in a caring and ethical manner, that his job is somehow "OK".

That is sort of like the classic apologist phrase "but I was only following orders!".

When he graduates,and goes on to whatever career choice he has made, even if he leads a charmed existance and never has to worry about debt or credit,he will find that his job as a ca will not be a favorable entry on his resume,unless he decides to say in the ca business.

Many of us have had to work at jobs we didn't like, for low pay and in miserable conditions, and others have gone to work in jobs that pay well, but leave us feeing dirty. Perhaps cc collector will make it big in the corporate world, but a word of caution, trying to justify oneself and make excuses for what you do is a VERY slippery slope.
