I started a dispute online for a credit card account (Charge off as of 2000), right away was "verified" but got a letter from that bank where they state that "were unable to clearly determine responsability for this account" and included an Affidavit of Fact- Fraudulent Credit Application. The affidavit must be sign, but I see everywhere in this site that no signature should be send to collectors?? If I send to the bank such document, what happens next? IN the meantime my experian credit report shows this item as Verified, should I inform them about this letter??
Thanks for any help.....
