I agree, bankruptcy should not be entered into lightly without a great deal of forethought and planning. It is a life affecting decision. Consult with an attorney, as well as people you know and trust, before making such a decision. Do not be ashamed to discuss your financial problems with your parents, close friends, or pastor or minister. Financial problems happen to everybody for all kinds of reasons, and regardless of what some credit collectors might tell you, being in debt does not mean you are a "bad" person. poor lawyer, esq.
