IF you have all your paperwork and bills from the OC, you MAY be able to fight a lawsuit on a SOL defense. However, it would not be easy as it could be claimed that the SOL started at the chargeoff date. Even so, some CA's are suing past the SOL date figurng to get a default judgment, and you would have to respond. IF you want to, there is a SOL letter on my website that is useful as a pre emptive strike to prevent lawsuits after SOL.
