What I know CAN be done is, in BK court the referee or judge may demand you turn over any credit cards you are dumb enough to bring to court when you lawyer has already told you to leave them at home if you have any.

Any jewelry valuable enough to invite seizure out to be in a safe location. Which may not necessarily be at home, alas. Any time it is published that you will not be home, you risk inviting unwanted guests to help themselves while you are elsewhere.
