If you enter into ccs you will find it is as bad or worse than ch 13. You will have creditors who do not participate, those who do not acknowledge payments etc. At least with ch13, you get a firm hold on all your creditors, plus if things turn bad for you again, (you never know !) you can convert it to a ch 7. Your alternative is to let everything continue in collections, go to judgments and either garnish your pay, your bank accounts and/or anything you may purchase in the future, like a home or car.Your statement that you are making too much to file ch7 because you are living with relatives seems odd, aren't you paying ANYTHING for your room and board? How long is THAT supposed to last? You might seek advice from ANOTHER BK lawyer, and tell him what your excpected expenses for living are GOING to be in the next 3-5 years, rather than what they are now.
