I own two cars, both with encumbrances. A 1996 Geo, and a 1988 RX7. Also am paying on a 2002 Dodge Neon. Balance $10,900, five years left to pay. I own nothing. Checking and savings are even in someones elses name. Collection Agency is sending back the information to MBNA the original creditor, telling them all of the above. I'm being told by numerous people that I'm probably pretty safe. When something is sent back to original creditor, what happens. Loan amount $6,000. I tried to settle a couple years ago, but they wanted the full amount. I live in PA. No garnishment. Thanks for your help
