I have one credit card also along with a BK. My card originally had a rate of 24.9%, it is now 14% and my card is usually maxed. My credit card company looked at my payment history with them and whether or not I had gone over my credit limit. They were very nice and gave me no problem. I have done this 3 times and each time got it lower than it was before. I can only speak from my experience. I hope things go well for you.
