BK question

I know bankruptcy is a matter of public record, but is it permissible for a bank employee to discuss your financial business (i.e., BK) with their friends who do not work at the bank. I guess it's just natural to want as few people to know as possible (especially when you live in a small town). Anyone have any thoughts on it?
