WHY CHAT HELP! Need to vacate judgements! Refinance wont go though!

This is a nightmare! My husband and I are in the process of refinancing our home. Everything was going smoothly, ready to close... when two judgements in my husbands name popped up. Thing is, we were never served with these judgements. We had no idea these judgements existed. Is there anything we can do quickly to vacate them? I have been told that if we weren't served properly the judgements can be vacated. Even if it's temporarily until the refinance goes through? Can we handle this ourselves or MUST we go to a lawyer?? Anyone?? Please, we're desperate!
