CAMCO information

"CAMCO was started in Genoa, Illinois in August of 1997 with just two employees and has grown to approximately 300 workers with sites in Illinois, Georgia and Florida. CAMCO is a major purchaser of non-performing debt portfolios and has acquired over $2 billion in non-performing receivables."

That is from an Illios news release:

http://spinotew1.commerce.state.il.us/PressRelease.nsf/bcdae6752638dcca86256b82004f2e17/55ba72fa4c2376b186256c070057c7cf?OpenDocument

If you want to sue CAMCO, or make sure that they receive the information you want, such as a C&D or Validation request, and they send your green cards back unsinged, then send it to their registered agent.

The registered agent and address is:

STUART GIMBEL/Registered Agent for Capital
Acquisistions & Management Company
7250 N CICERO AVE, SUITE 200
LINCOLNWOOD, IL 60712

If the Registered Agent refuses to sign green cards, the company could get in a lot of troulbe.

If you really want to make sure they get served, then hire a process server to serve Mr. Gimbel. It can cost up to $100 to do that sometimes though. (see below) But he will personally hand deliver it to Mr. Gimbel, and then execute an affidavit saying when he served him. CAMCO doesn't have to sign a thing.

For the full corporate data on CAMCO, here is the link to the Illinois Sec. of State's page on CAMCO:

http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/cgi-bin/business_services/corp.s?ID=59550349&CTYPE=01

Here is a website for a process server that serves in Lincolnwood, IL:

http://www.alawclerk.com/processfees.html

It looks like it would cost $55 to $75 to have it something personally served on Mr. Gimbel.

You can also have the President or Corporate Secretary personally served too, but you would need a process server from their location to do that.

If you have a complaint about CAMCO, I would suggest that, among other things, you submit a complaint to the Illinois AG's office at:

http://www.ag.state.il.us/

Hope that helps.
