This "acquisition" company has been calling me wanting to collect a debt from 1988. When I ask for something in writing from the company, I am denied as well as denied an address and other info. Thanks to Get em and others, I am now informed. I am still worried that they will try to tarnish my credit with this and will proceed to write to the BBB and FTC and perhaps the Attorney General. This obviously are not legal tactics, just a bunch of collectors using scare and threat tactics to hopefully achieve their goal of frightening people into paying debt that has been written off years ago when the SOL ran out.
