Just so you know on the Personal Jurisdiction thing, if you lived in a state then that state will almost certainly have personal jurisidction over you.

Theoretically, it could be *argued* that it doesn't, given the proper circumstances. But it would be a very very veyr tough sell.

Also, the FDCPA states that venue for a suit on a debt that is not secured by real property is in a) the county where the debtor resides, or b) the county where the contract was entered. Filing in another location would be a violation of the FDCPA.
