my parents want to help me out by paying off my credit cards and allowing me to pay them back with no interest. I took a look at my credit report and 2 out of my 3 accounts has a notation stating that I'm getting the help of a consumer credit counseling agency.

Would it be possible for me to come off the program, have those otations taken away and then let my parents pay off the accounts or is it likely that if I come off of the program that the credit card companies will take some type of negative action (like send my accounts into default)? What is the best course of action now? I have the 3 accounts that total about $8,000.
