In Ohio,as in other States where the SOL for revolving and open accounts are covered by exception, there is usually a clarification of what is considered a "written contract".In some States, like Mo. it is in their standard Statutes of Frauds, which describes what a contract has to contain to be a wrtten contract. In others, like Ohio, it is in their statute of frauds, but is then repeated in the statute I posted for clarification.
There are MANY contracts that are written and signed that do not qualify as a "contract in writing" legally under the statute of frauds.
