Does the complaint give any dates? If so, use that for a SOL defense.
DO NOT bring any bills etc. into evidence unless the ca has already furnished you with PROOF this is your account.
The proper way to fight, and I hope your answer was in this form, is to deny any knowledge one way or another of the account UNLESS the ca has provided proof -including an accounting of charges, a copy of your signed application etc. If you go in and say , in effect-- here Judge, here is all the $$ I owe,but I don't have to pay because the TILA says it is beyond SOL-- you will not get a good reception.
