Jo, I just saw your post way down the board in the thread about your condo lien.

Don't bother calling the attorney if they refuse to budge, or if you aren't comfortable calling him. Just send them the letters and the checks like I said. What you are doing is establishing that you have been very reasonable in trying to pay off the debt. And you are keeping a record of your reasonable offer to show a judge if and when they try to foreclose on your condo.

Just stay calm. Lawyers aren't gods (much to the chagrin of many of them). If you talk to him and you feel uncomfortable say that you are sorry but something just came up and you will talk again later.
