I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on august 5 02. i live in florida. the sol on this debt from a ca is 6yrs. I have requested proper validation and the ca continues to ignore my request, however they finally after 3 months sent me a computer print out only. they are still reporting to the bureaus I received a response back today the 23rd from the bbb and this is what the ca replied. our initial contact was made with *** ***** on 07/27/97 and 09/16/97 at that time she was given all proper instruction for validation of her accounts, which she did not do. on June 11 2002 she sent us a letter requesting "CEASE COMMUNICATION" Which means we may not contact her or attempt to collect, at that time we terminated contacting her. I trust this matter is resolved if we may be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me at *********. this is a bunch of bull, first off I sent Validation requests, they have never contacted me on the above dates for any form of instruction to validate. whether i did request to validate at that time is irrelevent, any suggestions. it seems they are trying to hold me to a 30 day validation 6yrs ago.
