I'm very upset! And alittle confused!

Over the last 2 years after discovering that someone and or some persons have used my husband and mine personal and private information... We are now being sued by one of the credit cards which were opened in our names... What really is the saddest thing of all regarding this is that 3 or the 6 credit card companies have opened their hearts to us and have helped us, while the other 3 are RUDE and so disrespectful it's a disgrace! We have never owned these cards, never opened them, and yet they believe we have because our address matches what they have... The also believe we intentionally have done it??? We hired one Attorney and within 30 days fired him... I found out more information on my own then he did in a day! gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... My attitude regarding that still is a bit touchy!...
So if anyone with legal knowledge can give some advice regarding this, please do so asap! thanks again!
