I thought about going with a credit repair agency to help clean up my credit. Almost did at my father in law's prompting. Would have cost about $400 or so for one person but of course I'm married so times 2. I think my father in law said about $900 for me and my husband. Guess what, didn't do it, saved myself the $900 and am doing it myself thanks to this board and other links I have found. I did alot of research and have learned so much. It takes time, but if you don't have much you need to do, you can probably do it your self. If you do go with a repair service, maybe you can check the BBB to get feedback about the company (complaints or if the company is in good standing).
