Regarding incentive to charge off, it must be done within time frames in order to get the benefit of the tax write-off, which I believe is 180 days.

I have been meaning to ask CC Collector, are you aware whether or not that carrying a loan longer than 180 days without writing it off will in fact create a TAX situation for the OC?
