I have several CC accounts that have been closed for over 3 years. Yet they continue to grow with charges late fees. I have the opportunity to get a personal loan to pay them off. Should I approach the cc's for a settlement? Should they be willing to remove some of the charges? Or should I go to a debt counseling service? Just want to end this now.
