It would probably be a good idea for him to do the BK, as any left over deficiency judgment on the car or trailer repo can go to judgment. If you DO marry,it will impair your ability to buy a home, would risk garnishment on his pay, and would be a drag.

Just an idle comment, if he has had these repos through mismagagement of his $$, and not due to circumstances beyond his control,I hope you are able to change his ways.
