Please do post anything he tells you about Griffith v Capital One. Every day I awaken with the notion that today I will get on the subway to go to the law library. Every day, something in my email tells mer it will have to await another dawn. I was going to post name/addr/phone for one of my legal advisers today, but realized in mid-entry that my boss is on vacation this week. And if any troll decided to get frisky making crank calls or even if folks here on the board created an incoming call flood, I'd get myself fired for cause if I did not at least discuss the matter with him first. Like your brother-in-law, consumer advocacy is not this lawyer's thing. What I am consulting him about concerns the possible effects of all this unpaid SOL debt on my heirs. And he is helping me sort through CRIMINAL codes because situations like yours and another described below WOULD be criminal if anyone other than a CA was doing it.
