THE WORKING POOR

Just wondered if anyone else caught this show..sorry haven't a clue what channel I watched it on, but it was Investigative Reports.

Talked about how many families are working full time/2 jobs and are still impoverished. This trend is increasing.

There was a lady on there (this is interesting) who had worked as a collector for a bank. Who said she now after no longer have that job and HAVING debt realizes how the people on the other end must've felt.

The whole bill balancing act of choosing between food or paying the electricity on time.

It ABSOLUTELY broke my heart when I saw one working mom who had a son maybe 2 years older than my daugher (around 4 years old) who couldn't get daycare assistance. She was paying $450 a month for daycare and because of it couldn't afford a car. She had to walk carrying her sleeping child (AT NIGHT) and wait at a bus stop because of this. Hormones maybe? But I cried. I couldn't imagine being outside with my baby at night walking.

It just outrages me that so many millionaires can sit by and see something like that and not help out.

It's soo scary how close most of us are to reaching that point. Pay check away it seems.

Sorry but wanted to let yall know I'd seen a great informative piece :)
