Write a nice polite letter back to them asking why they believe the requests are frivolous.

IF TRUE, tell them frankly that you have never disputed items on a credit report before, and that the number and kind of degogs was a very nasty surprise.

This may not change their minds if your open accounts are a mess.

But you are entitled to ask an honest question and get an answer before DEMANDING they reinvestigate items such as the disputes that are untimely, etc.

And RE-READ FDCPA full text regarding validation/verification. If you aggravation concerns SOL debt, all the CA has to -- read it and weap -- all they HAS TO send ya is the name and address of the Original Creditor.

And if that is all "they" has to send YOU -- where is it written that "they" has to send MORE to a CRA?

If your CA is CAMCO you are going to have to fight to get it removed because their legal advisors are sharper than most and so are many of their collectors.

So take it easy on the CRA, unless you already have DAMAGES you can sue for and iron-fisted proof CAMCO was aware the derog was one of those that qualify as an attempt to collect.

(I haven't gotten into those thorny woods yet, what needs to be cleaned up on MY CR is worse than derogs. My personal info is an unholy mess, and can't be clarified in 60 words or less.)
