Remember the congress people who are in favor of this bill are for the most part well off financially. They are generally out of touch with the lowly consumer who put them in office. There are a few exceptions (Ted Kennedy comes to mind). The congress men and women who voted for this bill either were paid by the credit industry or were pressured by their peers who were. You can all send a message when your congress person comes up for re-election...The people support the country..NOT BIG BUSINESS. And let's not forget the biggest supporter of this bill...and Mr. Big Business himself..president GW Bush..Get him out of office in 2004.
