should I pay the CA?

I have lots of CC debits(about $60k). Many of them just got charge-off and went to CA. One of them has a bal. of $900($300+ was late fee). I just got a call from the CA on that account today. I can pay this in 2 wks if I really have to. Should I pay them?
From what I read here, everytime the debitor pays the CA, there's always problems arise later. Since I also have other much bigger debits that I can't pay, will it cause problems if I pay this one off. If I don't pay, they'll keep calling me at work since they have my work number. Pete
