Bring your payment records to court. You may get a sane judge who understands how and why some folks just "give up" You did not merely fight the good fight, you really TRIED to pay off what you owed. So if they ask you what you paid that restarted the clock, or your own attorney asks, don't just blab the amount. "Hmm. Balance was $1200 or so when I made that last payment of $___." Talk fast. That is not what their attorney will want to hear.
