In May 2002 my Capital One card was charged with $35.85 from Sony (SOE Everquest) which also caused an over-the-limit fee of $25 as this is a very small limit card. I have not used this card in about one year as I wanted to pay it off. I disputed the charge and Sony sent paperwork showing this account was opened on 6/10/01. It is for a game account which is a 3 month revolving charge. You are billed for three months at a time and if you do not cancel, you will be automatically rebilled. I did not order it, can't play it due to severe motion sickness, and I only have the one charge against my card for an entire year, there should have been four charges (12/3). I also read there is a time limit for authorizations. C1 put this charge back onto my card even though I signed two affadavits it wasn't authorized. Sony's representative just said 'we don't do refunds' regardless of the fact I told them this is not my charge. Any suggestions, ideas, hints etc?
