That's ugly news for me ! I have 2 accounts with MBNA. One has gone to charge-off about a month ago, I received a letter stating this. The other will go the same way soon. These accounts were both opened 5 or so years ago, and I believe it was before MBNA started this arbitration tactic. I NEVER signed any papers with arbitration verbage, never signed any papers at all besides the original loan/application. From what I've been able to find out, I probably won't be a target for their arbitration. If they DO try that crap, I go straight to a bankruptcy attorney early.. MBNA can go suck wind !!
