I have a charged off account with providian, dla is 05/01 i live in florida, although the dla is so new can I just send a settlement with a restricted endorsement on the back of the check? I do not have the 2,400.00 that is owed. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. it has not gone to an outside agency yet at least not that i know of.
