I think I do need to consult someone. There are so many options at this point. BK is less expensive here, last time I checked it was from about $750 up to $1000, depending on the attorney. Our local legal aide society will not take our case for BK unless our "wages" are in jeopardy. They do not help if it is "only property" to defend. It doesn't seem fair to us, but probably is to someone else. I just want to make sure we can keep our house.
