The firm contacted me by letter on company letterhead. Company name is "The Chaet Kaplan Firm" and the phrase "Attorneys at Law" is right below the letterhead.

The letter was non-threatening, merely stating that I owed ~$2,000 to their client who is [supposedly] an assignee for Citibank. It was the basic "you have 30 days to dispute this claim..." yada, yada, yada. Their client is NOT the CA I reached a settlement with but rather a company called Resurgence Financial LLC. BTW, Resurgence Financial has never contacted me in any manner so IMHO they have no leg to stand on.

Did I leave anything out?
