What ever you do, get the agreement in writing. Also, don't count on that Citi card staying at 5%. Once they do an A/R and see that collection, you'll see a rate similar to the Chase card. You could not pick 4 worse cards to owe money. While you may be trying to settle, odds are one of those 4 will sue instead. Also, are you subject to MBNA's binding arbitration? With $25K to work with, why not pay your bills? Life will be much less complicated.
