It wa filed a year ago, 2001.
It was charged off in 1999.
I live in Missouri.
No, I did not file an answer at the beginning and didn't get a lawyer for several months because of finances.
Yes, the debt is valid. The cc company told us in 1999 that we had a valid situation and that they would not sell it, unfortunately we did not get that in print.
I don't know if the lawyer sueing me is licenced as a collection agent.
