You have ample documentation to sue, but you should shore it up: get another letter from Dept of Education and the school referencing the conference call contents.

Dept of Education may have some computer glitch which hopefully would have been ruled out duting or after the conference call.

If a check of the LISTS that they submit to CRAs shows no error, Experian is going to have a wonderful time explaining to a judge why what you have submitted is "insufficient" to resolve this issue.

Have you read about the $5,300,000 jury verdict against TransUnion? It's a story to inspire suit for anyone with ample documentation. Check the business section of the L.A. Times. Story ran Friday or Saturday. I loved the reason the victim gave for documenting (first a file folder, then a briefcase, then a storage box) every letter, phone call, note ... she called it her security blanket. Said she felt if she needed serious credit during the 6 years this dragged on shre'd just show the prospective lender her file.

Good luck!
