Again, thanks for all of your help, but one last question. The two accounts I am trying to get removed are listed by
1) Portfolio Recovery Associates (this account is also listed by the OC so it is on my report Twice
2)Rmapp Pur-Pap which is a CA.
I thought if I sent A c&d letter to these two they would have to send the account back to the OC by law (*smirk*) and they could not be verivied by the CRA. At this point I could continue sending C&D letters untill the time was up. I have a lot of good credit on my report, I am just trying to negate the bad. If you REALLY think this is a waste of time just let me know. I thought the law stated even if a CA "bought" the debt I only had an obligation to the OC.
