Hi!
Here it goes.......I just found out that I have an OLD judgement from 1987 against me.......thats 15 years! The amount of the judgement is $300.00...I know I was young and stupid at that time...$300. was like 3 million for me back then......The Interest is 10% per year......Here are my questions:
1. how is the interest calculated? what I mean is, does anyone have any idea about how much it would be?
2. I have since remarried and the judgement is in my former last name, can they attach my home which is in my new husbands name and mine...we are in OHIO?
3. I am now financially able to pay ......I want to pay in full but want to be sure to get a satisfaction so i prefer to pay directly to the court, can I do that?
4. Lastly, apparently they just keep reviving this judgement....when they revive it does the statues of limitations begin all over again?
Thanks in advance, I just can't believe they keep going after me for a tiny $300. although I know the interest will be much more.....They're like pit bulls....they just won;t let go. Thank you all so very much!
