From FL. I often here mention of "head-of-household" in the forum and need to know how that is determined. Is that the same as in the income tax forms? I own my home conjointly with a friend. The friend and I live in the home. He is male and contributes half the expenses. I am female but have no children, except for 3 cats. Is there a place one can find out who qualifies as head-of-household so as to prove it to a judge? I may need to know this if my case goes to a judgment. Thank you.
