Take your answer to court, make sure you have copies for the judge and the opposition lawyer. Bring a copy of your validation letter and green card.Stress the fact that the CA has not validated the debt as being yours, has shown you no evidence it is your account, has not proven any amounts he says are due,and if you have a SOL defense ,ake sure you have your State statutes to back you up and the TILA and FDCPA relevant sections available in duplicate copies.
