You have I presume saved your repair receipts? Has anyone explained WHY no one has been able to repair the brake?

Have you taken them to a consumer lawyer who specializes in "lemon laws"?

That might be the VERY best negotiator you could hire, under the circumstances. Check your yellow pages and see if any offer a free consultation in their office.

Personally, I stopped driving when cars started to cost what houses used to cost and payments plus insurance totaled more than what I was used to paying for rent. If you can carpool or use public transportation to get to and from work, don't ever let this lemon be a reason you didn't make it, on time. It would take several million like me to make a dent in the economics of automobile sales prices, but if I NEED a ride from here to there, I can afford to take a cab. Folks with wheels in my workplace can't.
