You won't get any bad marks removed. In fact, once you enter a CCCS type of program, your credit report will report the tradeline as "under debt management".
Have you tried negoiating directly with your crediotrs? Asking about hardship programs. Many will temporarily lower rates and minimum paymnets and suspend any fees. I think I'd try that prior to CCCS.
