Under your present circumstances, you would be better off doing nothing until you are back in Fl.

Anything you do now will be useless in terms of RRR -paper trails etc. PLUS you need to make sure you are beyond SOL -remember, if you are unavailable (out of the Country) the time is "tolled" for being sued.
